Where Was I?

Weather or Not

February 7, 2008 · 4 Comments

This is the third time in recent weeks we’ve been told to expect some sort of ice/wind/rain storm and gotten nothing.

What other job allows you to be so wrong so often and still get to keep at it? (besides President, I mean.)

Maybe my next TV gig should be as a weatherperson (Not meteorologist. That takes some work. And math). But if I have to point and circle, I’ve already honed those skills.

The rest is clearly just guesswork.

Actually, on a second take, I guess I just read that wrong. The link I left says you were reporting “on a blogger who was fired after her boss read her blog.”

    doh!

So sorry again. How’s it go? – my bad.

oh, you read my comment at A’blog. No one responded.

But it wasn’t a guess. I don’t make shit up, never, but I do apologize for repeating it when others do. I also apologize for linking to rightwing fact-less sites too. So sorry on both counts.

Now I feel bad for spreading false rumors.

    Pollster: Good call.

Btw – blog didn’t start until after I left CNN.

But I’m not one to mince words so it wasn’t a bad guess.

    Pollster?

I know that’s supposed to entail “some work. And math” also, but if you ask me a bunch of them are clearly just phoning it in on a regular basis.

You were impressive at the “point and circle” thing though.

    heheh
